ICB Islamic Bank has been incorporated on April 1987 as a public limited company under the Companies Act, of 1913 to undertake and carry out all kinds of banking, financial and business activities, transactions and operations in strict compliance with the principles of Islamic Law (Shariah) relating to business activities in particular avoiding usury in credit and sales transactions and any practice which amounts to usury. Certificate for commencement of business has been issued to the bank on April, 30, 1987. The Bank has been authorized by the Bangladesh Bank to carry on the banking business in Bangladesh with effect from May 4, 1987. However, actual banking operations commenced on May 20, 1987

MBA/ MBM/ Masters from any reputed University, preferably in business discipline or major in Finance & Banking with no third class/ division in his/her entire academic career.

The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Banks/ Financial Institutions
Investment Risk Management
Capable of analyzing SME or Corporate funded & non-funded business proposals.
Sound knowledge in Banking/ Financial Sector and the regulatory issues.
A good understanding of the Local Industry/ Market dynamics.
Excellent communication skills.
Advance computer skills.
Should be proactive, dynamic and self-motivated to update with risk management issues and skills.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze and assess Investment proposals in terms of Consumer/ Business banking including the clients, transactions, purpose, clients’ requirement, repayment capacity, financial analysis, and overall investment structuring as per bank’s lending guidelines and regulations;
Should have sound knowledge on different investment factors, market dynamics, industry insights and ability to analyze customer investment worthiness.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines as well as external regulatory requirements during the approval process;
Appraise investment proposal for onward submission to the appropriate delegated authority including the Board of Directors and Senior Management for necessary approval;
Ensure standard Turn-Around-Time (TAT) as per bank’s strategy and policy for disposal;
Assist the line manager in preparation of reports and presentations as compulsory;
Other tasks as and when assigned by the line manager/ management.
